Further afield on the South Coast:
Accra/Rockley Beach are on the western end of the South Coast; close by is Pebbles Beach and Carlisle Bay. Oistins/ Welches Beach and Freights are in the middle/ slightly east. On the far eastern part of the south coast is Sam Lord’s Castle and Bottom Bay. Check out the surfers on the South Coast at Brandon’s to the west or Freights Bay to the east.
Wanderlust Barbados is ideally located to explore the lively South Coast of Barbados. In the middle of Christ Church parish, there are a multitude of places to go from here.

The East
I laughed when people told me that locals consider the East coast as a day trip. Bathsheba is less than 25km away from Wanderlust Barbados, and a 40-minute drive. Yet, it feels like a different island with the windswept palm trees and wild waves.
The West
West coast restaurants take it up a notch, serving dishes from renown chefs. Outdoor patios overlook the calmer beaches of Barbados. Take in stunning sunsets over a sundowner.
The North
The Animal Flower Caves are worth a trip to the northern tip of Barbados. Rugged cliffs overlooking the power of the Atlantic Ocean. Explore the caves to take a dip and see the “animal flowers.”
